Chasing and reminders

Renewal chasing runs itself: CoverWarden emails the right people at the right times and stops the moment compliant paper arrives.

The automatic sequence

With chasing enabled (Settings → Automated renewal chasing), each vendor's newest certificate triggers emails at 30, 14 and 7 days before expiry, and on expiry day — one email per stage, never duplicates. Uploading a new certificate ends the sequence automatically. Every send is logged in Activity.

Why the agent is emailed too

Each chase goes to the vendor's contact AND the producing agent from the certificate. Vendors forward emails; agents issue certificates. Chasing the agent directly routinely cuts renewal turnaround from weeks to days. Every email includes the vendor's no-login upload link and the specific issues to fix.

Manual reminders and the digest

Send a one-off reminder from any certificate page — same content, on demand. Separately, the expiry digest emails team members (each member can opt out in Settings) a summary of certificates expired or expiring within 30 days. It arrives at most once a day, and only when the list has changed — an unchanged list repeats weekly, not daily.
